"I would never have achieved anywhere close to the standard that I did if it had not been for the diligent encouragement and excellent coaching that I received at Kallang Riverside Park, from learning my first heelside jump to attempting a range of inverted tricks. Not only did their facilities support my riding both on and off the water but the coaching staff manage to mix a friendly and enjoyable social environment with the with a professionalism which is absent in so many sporting arenas. The regular tournaments hosted by they guys at Kallang Riverside Park constantly gave me new hights to aim for, especially those where Paul Fong arranged for one of the professional riders to come over. In fact, it was Paul's wide spread contacts throughout the waterskiing and wakeboarding world that really introduced me to the camps and competitions outside of Singapore, without the invaluable launch into the WWC and WWA events I would never have had the opportunity to reach the heights that I did. “I want to thank Paul Fong and his professional staff for the great experience I have had riding at Kallang Riverside Park. The facilities, coaches andother students make it a great place for anyone who loves to ride. Paul has taught me to understand the physics of wakeboarding and use them to my advantage. The time spent at Kallang Rierside Park has made me appreciate how much you can learn from a great coach.”

"It’s coming up to seventh year now that Paul Fong has been kind enough to keep me under his wing. Throughout the seven years I’ve been fortunate to experience his world class coaching at Kallang Riverside Park, while being introduced to global world of water sports.  Paul’s attributes extend far beyond his coaching style and methods that he tailors to each of his students. He, in my view, can easily be considered not only a coach but a pillar that one can rely on, as well as an invaluable source of wisdom and knowledge in a number of areas.

It’s impossible to even vaguely imagine attaining the level of riding, nor the countless hours of enjoyment I have gained from wakeboarding without the guidance of Paul. In fact, even after seven years I find it hard to rustle up a memory in respect to wakeboarding that doesn’t involve Paul.

This man has given me the opportunity to travel the globe and provided invaluable experience under pressure.

It’s safe to say that Paul has been the back bone of my wakeboard career and all that has happened to me in this respect.  He has always been there, and in my mind will always be partly responsible for the person I am today."
